My Story
Born and raised in the enchanting streets of Paris, I pursued my education at University Paris Dauphine PSL and earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from Sciences Po Paris. Since June 2005, New York has been my home.
I first made my mark in the world of derivatives sales, thriving for over a decade at leading firms like Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Societe Generale, and BNP Paribas. I then ventured into the startup world, launching two sustainable food ventures, Ancolie and Fresh Bowl.
After making the difficult but necessary decision to move on from both businesses, I took time to focus on my myself and my personal growth, and raising my children. It was during this period that I discovered my passion for helping others. Now, as a Certified Executive Coach, I blend my business experience with life coaching, guiding leaders through complex business challenges and supporting women through significant personal transitions.
Ancolie Sustainable Cafe
Nestled in the West Village, Ancolie was a vibrant coffee shop with healthy meals and a strong commitment to the environment. We offered fresh dishes that customers could enjoy on-site or take to go. Our innovative system allowed customers to return reusable glass jars for a $2 credit, promoting sustainability while enjoying delicious food bursting with seasonal flavors.
We proudly embraced carbon neutrality and earned a four-star rating from the Green Restaurant Association. In addition to our daily offerings, we hosted memorable events for up to 800 people and provided catering for a diverse range of industries. Ancolie quickly became the go-to spot for eco-conscious dining in New York City.
In a difficult yet necessary decision, I closed Ancolie to launch my next venture...
Fresh Bowl Vending Machines
In 2018, I collaborated to launch Fresh Bowl which provided fresh meals to busy New Yorkers through vending machines. Similar to Ancolie, we implemented a smart glass jar return system, allowing customers to reclaim their $2 deposit effortlessly. Operating from our central kitchen, we placed over 10 locations throughout Manhattan, including spots like Fulton subway, NYU, and various offices, where our jar return rates skyrocketed from 40% in-store to an impressive 80% at the machines. It was all about convenience: fresh, local, and healthy meals, restocked daily—good for you and good for the planet.
However, the pandemic had other ideas, forcing me to move on from my Fresh Bowl partnership. It was a tough loss, but one that shaped my next steps.
Transition to Coaching
I welcomed my second child and found myself drawn to consulting and mentoring female founders, while hosting a blog on fertility.
In 2023, while navigating my divorce, I began my coaching certification through IPEC, blending my love for entrepreneurship, sustainability, and personal transformation into my coaching practice.
Ancolie Coaching
The name "Ancolie," inspired by a wildflower in the Alps—a place close to my heart—represents both beauty and resilience. While the Greek meaning of "Chloe," or "little flower," connects me to nurturing growth and transformation. Ever since I left finance and started my own ventures, I have always spent time helping other women founders. Integrating this extensive experience with my finance and entrepreneurship background, I offer deep insights and practical strategies.
At Ancolie Coaching, I’m dedicated to empowering women and minority founders, guiding them through business challenges and personal transitions to spark meaningful transformation and impact. My experiences in navigating the highs and lows of business, paired with my personal journey, give me a unique perspective in helping others unlock their potential.
